No. The security deposit is €0 for every AutoBook Albania vehicle.
Do I need to prepay?
No. No prepayment is required to confirm the reservation.
When do I pay?
Payment is made at pickup using cash or card according to the confirmed booking.
Do I need a credit card to reserve?
No. A credit card is not required to make the reservation.
Pickup, documents and driving
Can I pick up at Tirana International Airport?
Yes. Tirana International Airport is one of the approved vehicle delivery locations.
What documents do I need?
Bring a valid driving licence and passport or ID, plus the accepted payment method for the confirmed rental.
Can I drive off-road?
No. Off-road use is not permitted. Use the vehicle only on roads allowed by the rental agreement.
Can I cross the border?
Only with prior approval and any required documents, fees or insurance conditions.
Vehicle condition and extras
What is the fuel policy?
The vehicle should be returned with the fuel level agreed at handover; in normal cases this means the same fuel level as delivered.
Is insurance included?
Basic mandatory coverage applies, while additional insurance options may be available depending on the booking. Review the confirmed coverage and exclusions.
Can I request a child seat or second driver?
These extras can be requested subject to availability and booking conditions.
What happens if I damage the car?
Responsibility depends on the circumstances, rental agreement, insurance selected and whether rental rules were followed. Report incidents promptly and follow AutoBook’s instructions.
